Anime/Manga
One of my biggest interests is anime, manga, and Japanese culture in general. I have done since the late 90's. I like all sorts of Japanese things!My favourite animated series are Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Please Teacher!, Steel Angel Kurumi, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and Yakitate!! Japan. All of them are pretty different :)
My favourite manga is Pita-Ten. From the first time I read it fully to now, I still love it. My second favourite manga is ARIA because it's so simple and pleasant to read.
I'm a big collector of series I enjoy. My main fandom is Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto, and I own almost every piece of merchandise I've found for sale for it. Since I've started university this has slowed due to money issues.. quite a lot.. but I still enjoy collecting.
As well as series, I collect anything by Kaishaku, including manga, anime series, artbooks, leaflets, doujinshi, posters, etc! I adore their artwork.
Videogames
I'm not a huge gaming nut but I do enjoy a few! My favourite videogame is and probably always will be Skies of Arcadia: Legends (GameCube), closely followed by Tales of Symphonia (GameCube).I mainly play handheld games, due to being busy with University. My favourite handheld games include Elite Beat Agents (DS), Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (PSP), Me and My Katamari (PSP) & Taiko no Tatsujin (PSP).
I also play Final Fantasy 11 (Online). You can find me on the Unicorn server, my character's name is Exelia and I play as a female Tarutaru!
I really love rhythm games, it's a shame there aren't more available in the UK. I'm pretty awful at them, but I have fun trying!
Other Interests
I've got plenty of other interests than just anime and manga, too!Since I was a kid I've loved cartoons and animation. My favourites are Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel and Freakazoid!, and they always have been. David Feiss, the creator and director of Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel, remains one of my favourite directors.
I love collecting cute stationary and things, and recently I've become interested in Tokidoki. Simone Legno has a wonderful art style - while Tokidoki stuff is expensive, it's absolutely adorable! My favourite prints are Pirata and Citta Rosa, and I currently have a Pirata Ciao I love dearly!
I collect music of all different kinds and horde bad, cheesy and forgotten music, and of course good music. My iPod currently has 3,740 songs on it, and I add more to it everyday - good or bad!
Projects & Involvement
I'm involved in a lot of projects and things, on and offline. My main "projects" are part of The One Clone Company, and are made for University and portfolio purposes as well as to have some fun! I'm currently planning a series of shorts under the "Death by.." title - I'm hoping to have another couple filmed by the end of 2008.I edit AMVs in my spare time, and I'm a founding member of Making a Show of Themselves, an AMV Studio. I'm a pretty slow editor.. I get loads of ideas, but hardly any ever get finished! I'm hoping to get more made this year - if I get time to, that is!
I'm also a part of HatCon and Howay!Con, two convention-going groups in the UK. I meet up with both groups as often as I can .. usually ending in chaos.
